Oh hi, I'm Kelsey—a Vancouver-based copywriter with a soft spot for companies with a conscience and a tendency to overshare.
Speaking of, I happen to enjoy writing my own bio as much as I might enjoy being trapped in a small room full of open-mouthed chewers. I don't care for it. This is the part where I’m supposed to sell myself, but hard sells aren’t where I shine. I’m better at making things that feel less like ads and more like the moment you realize your dress has pockets. Surprising. Delightful. Useful.
And yet, here we are. You’re reading this so we’re both committed now.

I AM
A multi-disciplined copywriter with a gift for making brands more human and humans more loyal.
A mother, partner, daughter, sister, friend, and occasional jackass.
Curious by nature, optimistic by choice, analytical by necessity.
A big fan of brands that do good and humans who try.
I THINK
The best creative ideas are usually hiding under the stuff we’re too scared to talk about.
Humour is the quickest route to connection and relatability.
The world would be a better place if we were all 2% more like Thom Yorke.
Genuine connection beats a hard sell every time.
I’M GOOD AT
Campaign concepts, creative problem-solving, and copy that makes people care.
Ideas—big ideas, little ideas, and useless ideas. Every now and then I trip over a brilliant one, but it’s usually just Lego.
Turning dry and complex into clear and relatable.
Naming brands, products, campaigns, and children.
